Puri Hotel, the tallest building in Puri, is located right on the beach. It is 1 km from Lord Jagannath Temple, 2 km from Railway Station & 60 km from Bhubaneswar Airport. We have both A/C and Non A/C rooms. You can also choose from our premium range of deluxe rooms or suites at a very competitive price. As many as 100 rooms have private balcony facing the sea that provides breath-taking views of the beach. You can watch the beautiful sunrise and sunset from the rooms, relax by the seashore or even indulge in various beach activities.
We were awarded "Best Economic Resort of the Year, 1994". Being a heritage hotel, we understand the meaning of traditional hospitality and at the same time keep in sync with the latest requirements of our guests and offer several modern day amenities. The hotel has Multi-cuisine restaurant, ATM, Automatic lifts, Car parking space, Cable TV, Safe deposit locker, Doctor chamber, Travel desk, Tour bookings, Railway and Air ticket confirmation and free transportation from the hotel to the Railway station and back.

Inception
1947, the year of Indian Independence also marked the beginning of a noble effort to redesign the culture of Indian hospitality at Puri. Puri Hotel was started with 3 small rooms with much enthusiasm in a single storied house on lease. Late Makhanlal Halder & Late Rani Halder, the founders of Puri Hotel, were visionaries ahead of their times. They knew that success would definitely come their way through dedication and commitment to "Create a hotel that is not just built with stones and concrete but with care." And true to their feelings, the personalized service and heart-warming amenities of Puri Hotel have had its boarders come back year after year. Today, Puri Hotel stands tall as a historic pillar of fame, befitting the rich tradition of Puri, the temple town of Lord Jagannath.
